CD mastering is the final stage of the recording process and is carried out in a recording studio which is unlike a regular recording studio. This is because the equipment used for CD mastering is state-of-the-art and requires professional engineers.

The mixing engineers can do wonders for your ordinary recordings and tracks as they are highly specialised and skilled. The process is systematic and during the initial stage the recording or the source is transferred to a master.
