CD replication is slightly different to the duplication process and it allows for much larger orders to be placed. With CD replication a glass master and stamper is created and all the CD copies are factory pressed. All CD replication UK orders of £500+ are subject to our free mainland delivery policy.

CD Replication is suitable for orders of 300+ discs. CD Duplication or Replication can be used for CD album manufacture, CD ROM, CD and enhanced CD. Replication involves the laser cutting of a glass master which is then used to form metal stampers using an electrolysis process. The metal stampers are then used to press the disc on our production lines using a form of plastic injection molding. This CD manufacturing process is how all mass produced retail audio CDs and DVD videos are made. All prices and deals on this page include glass mastering, stamper production, disc replication and on body print. Prices assume customer supplied print ready artwork to correct specifications. Overs And Unders
All replication orders are potentially subject to +/- 5% overs/unders manufacturing tolerance although for the majority of order we do achieve exact quantities. Overs are available at unit cost price and unders are credited at applicable unit price.

CD On Body Print Options For Replication

For CD replication there are several on body print options, the most common are listed below together with general guidelines for suitability. All print options give a very high quality, durable finish as found on all retail CDs. If you are unsure of the best print method for your design please contact us or email a copy of your on body design. All prices on this page include a choice of the 3 following CD print options.

2 Colour CD Screenprint, 2 pantone colours or white base + 1 colour.	5 Colour CD Screenprint, 5 pantone colours or white base + 4 pantone colours.	5 Colour Offset Litho CD Print, white base + CMYK process for full colour.

2 colour screenprint is a cost effective solution that gives a fantastic gloss finish. Many retail CDs use spot colour screenprint due to high quality durable finish and lower print costs. Designs are critical, spot colours should be used and correctly defined in your file using the Pantone solid coated library.	As with 2 colour, 5 colour screenprint produces a high quality finish suitable for all graphic designs using up to 5 pantone colours. Full colour photo images and graphics can also be printed using white base + CMYK screenprint although offset litho yields better detail print results.	Offset litho print is the most suitable option if you require high quality, high resolution full colour print including photo quality images, or extremely high detail graphics, gradients and backgrounds. Large areas of solid colour may not produced quite as consistently as using spot colour screenprint.
